Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you offer professional discounts?
A: Yes. If you are currently (or retired from) working in the blindness, O&M, Low Vision, or VI fields you will qualify for a 10% discount on all HandiWorks products. To activate your discount just email us at profdiscounts@handiworks.com and tell us what your current position is (or former position if retired). We will then email you a 10% discount code that you can enter every time you make a HandiWorks purchase over our web site. *discount does not apply to shipping and any applicable taxes will still apply.
Q: Can I become a HandiWorks Representative?
A: Yes. Just email us at reps@handiworks.com and we will email or fax you our questionnaire and application for you fill out and email (or fax) back to us. We will then review your application and let you know(usually within five business days) if we think you would be a good match with us.
Q: What are the benefits of becoming a HandiWorks Representative?
A: You are able to order HandiWorks products from our website at a substantial discount off the retail price. For example if you have a customer that wants one of our products, you place the order (only HandiWorks website orders are accepted) and your generous discount is automatically applied to your purchase via a special code that you enter during the purchase process. We provide you with this special code if we approve your application to become a HandiWorks Representative. You then sell the product(s) to your customer at the retail price and you pocket the difference. Of course you also charge the customer for the shipping and any applicable sales tax so it does not come out of your pocket. It's really that easy. This way you do not need to purchase (and inventory) any of our products in advance. You just order (and pay) for your products as you need them and collect your discount from the difference you paid us and what you receive from your customer. There are certain rules and restrictions that you must agree to in the application. Currently only United States citizens may apply.
